• User-Generated Content: We collect content you actively upload or post to the platform, including study notes, previous year question papers (PYQs), marketplace listings, and "Lost & Found" reports.
• Technical Data: We may collect device information, IP addresses, app usage analytics, and crash logs to improve app performance and troubleshoot issues.

2. How We Use Your Information

We do not sell your personal data. We use the collected information strictly for the following purposes:

• To provide, maintain, and improve the Service (e.g., calculating SGPA, displaying timetables).
• To verify your status as a student and maintain the integrity of our community.
• To fetch and display public coding statistics from third-party platforms (LeetCode, Codeforces) for campus leaderboards.
• To facilitate user-to-user communication for marketplace transactions or lost item recovery.
• To send you technical notices, security alerts, and support messages, including timetable push notifications.

3. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We only share your information under the following limited circumstances:

• Service Providers: We use third-party backend services (such as Supabase) for authentication and secure database hosting. These providers are strictly bound to protect your data.
• Public Community Features: Your name, branch, and uploaded content (notes, listings) are visible to other verified users on the platform.
• Legal Requirements: We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities.

4. Data Security

We value your trust in providing us your Personal Information, thus we strive to use commercially acceptable, industry-standard means of protecting it. Your data is encrypted in transit using HTTPS/TLS and securely stored in encrypted cloud databases. However, remember that no method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure and reliable, and we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain your personal information only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy. If you no longer wish to use the Service, you have the right to request the permanent deletion of your account and all associated data.

Our Services are designed for university students and do not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. In the case we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we immediately delete this from our servers.
