Welcome to Nirma Hub! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Nirma Hub mobile application and related website (collectively, the "Service") operated by the Nirma Hub team ("us", "we", or "our").
By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you may not access or use the Service.
Nirma Hub is an independent, student-led initiative. It is NOT officially affiliated, associated, authorized, endorsed by, or in any way officially connected with Nirma University or any of its subsidiaries or affiliates. The official Nirma University website can be found at nirmauni.ac.in . The name "Nirma University" as well as related names, marks, emblems, and images are the property or trademarks of their respective owners.
Nirma Hub is intended for eligible members of the Nirma University community. Access to the Service may be restricted to users with an eligible @nirmauni.ac.in email address.
When you create an account, you must provide accurate, complete, and current information. You are responsible for ensuring that the information associated with your account remains accurate.
Google Sign-In: Nirma Hub uses Google Sign-In for authentication. Nirma Hub does not ask you to create or provide a separate Nirma Hub password. You are responsible for maintaining the security of the Google account you use to access the Service.
You must not share your Google account credentials with another person or knowingly allow another person to access your Nirma Hub account. You should notify us if you become aware of unauthorized access to your Nirma Hub account.
Nirma Hub allows users to create and submit certain content through community features, including Marketplace listings and Lost & Found reports ("User-Generated Content").
You are responsible for the content that you submit, including its legality, accuracy, reliability, appropriateness, and compliance with applicable laws and these Terms.
By submitting User-Generated Content to the Service, you grant Nirma Hub a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, distribute, and technically modify that Content solely as necessary to operate, maintain, and provide the Service.
You retain ownership of your original User-Generated Content, subject to the rights and licenses described in these Terms.
Nirma Hub provides in-app mechanisms that allow users to report objectionable User-Generated Content or users who violate these Terms.
We review reports and may take appropriate action, including removing Content, restricting access, suspending accounts, or permanently terminating accounts when appropriate.
Where user-to-user interaction is available, users may also block other users to prevent unwanted interactions.
Users are encouraged to report content or behavior that violates these Terms rather than engaging in harassment or retaliation.
Academic materials available through Nirma Hub, including notes, Previous Year Question Papers (PYQs), and other study resources, are reviewed and published by Nirma Hub administrators.
Students do not directly publish these academic materials through the Service. Students may submit materials to the Nirma Hub team for consideration, but publication is subject to administrative review and approval.
Academic materials are provided for educational and reference purposes. Users should respect applicable copyright, intellectual property, and university academic-integrity requirements.
Nirma Hub provides an interactive SGPA Calculator designed to help students track continuous internal assessment scores (e.g., sessional exams, class tests, assignments, practicals/labs, LPW) and estimate the required marks in Semester End Examinations (SEE) to achieve target academic letter grades.
The Service and its original content, features, functionality, software, design, and branding, excluding User-Generated Content, are and will remain the property of Nirma Hub and its respective licensors.
The Service is protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, reverse engineer, or commercially exploit any part of the Service without appropriate authorization, except where permitted by applicable law.
The Service may contain links to or integrations with third-party websites and services that are not owned or controlled by Nirma Hub, including external programming profiles and services such as LeetCode and Codeforces.
Nirma Hub does not control and is not responsible for the availability, content, privacy policies, security, or practices of third-party websites or services.
Your use of third-party services is subject to the terms and policies of those respective services.
We may suspend or terminate an account, remove Content, or restrict access to the Service when we reasonably believe that a user has violated these Terms, applicable law, or our community rules.
We may also take action to protect the security, integrity, and availability of the Service and its users.
Upon termination, your right to use the Service may immediately cease.
You may request deletion of your Nirma Hub account and associated personal information using the account-deletion functionality provided within the Service or through our external Data Deletion page.

Account deletion is subject to the applicable data retention practices described in our Privacy Policy.
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the extent permitted by applicable law, Nirma Hub does not guarantee that the Service will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, accurate, or free from errors.
We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, reliability, or suitability of user-generated content, academic materials, marketplace listings, Lost & Found information, or third-party information available through the Service.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Nirma Hub and its developers shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or relating to your access to or use of, or inability to access or use, the Service.
This includes, without limitation, losses arising from third-party conduct, user-generated content, marketplace transactions, unauthorized access, loss of data, or reliance on information available through the Service.
We may modify or replace these Terms from time to time at our discretion.
When material changes are made, we may provide notice through the Service or by other reasonable means. Your continued use of the Service after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
